Medical cannabis course coming next year to Thailand
A brand new class about medical cannabis will probably be offered beginning next year from the Office of the Non-Formal and Informal Education.
A group of specialists on medical cannabis is currently working to make content for the program, said Assoc Prof Phatchari Sisang, a master in development and research in Srinakharinwirot University.
“Marijuana and Hemp Research for Smart Use” will probably be worth 3 credits and have a total of 120 hours to finish, said Assoc Prof Phatchari, who’s about the functioning team.
Developed from the Office of the Non-Formal and Informal Education collectively with Chaopraya Abhaiphubejhr Hospital, the class will include seven elements:
1: Reasons Why We will need to Know about Marijuana and Hemp (10 hours); two: Marijuana and Hemp as Medicinal Plants (20 hours); 3: Dangers and advantages of Marijuana and Hemp (15 hours); 4 ): Legislation approximately Marijuana and Hemp (15 hours); 5: Marijuana and Hemp in Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (20 hours); 6 ): Marijuana and Hemp in Modern Medicine (20 hours), and 7: How to Use Marijuana and Beef as Medicines For Their Fullest Gains.
“This program isn’t about growing marijuana. On the contrary, it is going to offer understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of marijuana and how to use it ” Assoc Prof Phatchari explained.
Suphaphon Pitiphon, the president of the Thai traditional medicine and herbs division in Chaopraya Abhaiphubejhr Hospital, said the class will provide basic and necessary understanding about marijuana for medicinal purposes.
Sangkhom Thopurin, an expert on educational institution direction, who’s part of the group designing the program, stated it’d be better to set up an official study class on marijuana and hemp compared to allow fans struggle to find info by themselves from elsewhere.
